THE FESTIVAL OF THE WICKED HAS ENDED! [SEWH]
The Halloween event for Something Evil Will Happen has finally closed its doors a few days ago! And if I'm being honest with you, I'm kind of glad for that.
Don't get me wrong! This event, being titled as the Festival Of The Wicked, was one with a fun and entertaining premise to play from time to time while October and Halloween were still around. Each round, or most of them to be exact, was distinguished by a gimmick (or modifier as the game calls them) apart from the usual disasters that changed the gameplay in a few significant ways. And I mean, another special thing being the Halloween decorations and spooky ambiance that some locations in the game had, of course...
But after a while, almost at the end of November, having this event still going on made me miss the simple aesthetics and vibes that SEWH used to have before all of this started.
I mean, if something like Halloween was considered as over for almost a month ago, I believe it would make sense for you to be able to take down the decorations in your house already, but who am I to judge? I'm just the writer of these blogs, after all.
Returning once again to the Festival of the Wicked, not much was lost with its closure unlike one might think (Not wanting to count the unlimited items that were in the store during this time, because yeah... Those are gone) as thanks to the billboard on the lobby that informs us about the updates, we will know about the Modifiers that characterized the event becoming a permanent addition to the SEWH's gameplay!
Something that could be exciting for some players, including myself, being a way to vary the rounds at least a little with fun mechanics. For example: Shadow and Thundercloud!
Shadow's gimmick being of a shadow of yourself appearing near you every now and then, starting to follow you by mimicking all the movements your character makes until it disappears. While Thundercloud is about a rain cloud appearing over your head that will strike you with lightning if you don't manage to pass the cloud to another player before it does.

Why am I naming these ones in specific? Because both of them are references to Super Mario games that I played during my childhood, and I love that! (Shadow being present in Mario Galaxy 2 and Thundercloud in Mario Kart Wii)
Anyway! Enough of that already, I just thought that was worth to mention.
Now with Halloween finally getting its end on this game, I wonder how long it would take for a Christmas event making it's way there. Just like the billboard mentions, "Winter Approaches..." And when that happens, don't doubt I'll make a blog about it! I love this game to the point I have been waiting to make a post related to it.

As for now, I guess all I have left to do is ask you personally: What did you think of this festival? If anyone comment their thoughts, I'll be happy to hear what they believe of it!
Thank you for reading this short blog on BlockyBloxy! I hope to post more often, but only time will tell what will happen. I'm WixTurf, and I'll see you later.
Goodbye!
Goodbye!
